Singapore Hawker
If you’re looking for a restaurant near Coquitlam Center, look no further than Singapore Hawker. This restaurant specializes in Malaysian-Singaporean meal, from Mee Goreng (tasty noodles) to Singaporean Laksa (a yellow curry coconut soup) with an assortment of delicious greens, this restaurant is sure to impress.
This Greek restaurant is known for their large portions and popular traditional Greek cuisine. Known locally as “the best Greek restaurant in the tri-cities,” My Greek Traverna is consistently a bustling spot. While reservations are hard to come by, a simple drop-in is all it takes to get into this restaurant and experience one of the best restaurants in Coquitlam.
A spicy-lovers delight: this Korean spot is home to wonderful Korean dishes. From spicy chicken galbi to a wide-range of kimchi dishes, Tâ Bom is an overlooked local gem that is worth trying.
While it may be an unexpected combination, Pizza Town combines two local favorites in one dining setting: Pizza and Indian food! Their pizza is exploding with flavor and spices, making it a great low-key dining experience for both dine-in and take-out. Their curries and samosas are all made in-house and compliment their pizzas wonderfully.

Lafarge Lake
Located in Town Centre Park, a loop trail will take visitors through a beautiful outdoor landscape around Lafarge Lake with views of Coquitlam’s highrises. Originally a quarry, the area was developed into a human-created lake for locals to enjoy the city’s views from a gorgeous setting. The lake is fully stocked with fish, including Rainbow trout, making it a desirable fishing spot. Every third weekend in March, the Water's Edge Festival takes place at Lafarge Lake for visitors to enjoy live music in the park.
This 178 hectare park provides a large urban forest for visitors and locals alike to explore. A 5.5 kilometer pathway encircling the park takes about 1 hour to complete. It’s the perfect way to stretch your legs if you’re looking to get out into nature! If you have a dog, all the trails in Mundy park are off-leash, so this is the perfect place to spend time with your furry friends. Fun fact: the television series “Supernatural” was frequently filmed in Mundy Park.
Located only 15 minutes from Coquitlam Centre is one of Greater Vancouver’s best brewery districts. Sporting seven unique breweries, locals can try one of the many food trucks located outside of the breweries for dining delights and fantastic beer. The breweries are located right next to Rocky Point Park, where a viewpoint of the Burrard Inlet can be seen. This is the perfect place to take a break from a brewery crawl and take in views of British Columbia’s Coastal Mountains and lower mainland’s only fjord.
